Finally, I have the media done for Diane’s NAVY: NCIS return. I know it took a bit of time and that another website already has offered up their screencaps and a link to the full episode, but what I have here are HQ screencaps of Diane for anyone wishing to do banners, wallpapers, icons, livejournal icons, what have you. I also have the clip with only Diane’s scenes. This is after all, a Diane Neal website. Why make you have to sit through the other parts of the episode when you’ve come here for the girl herself.
One thing I want to say before I get to the media. That is, apparently the ratings for this episode went through the roof. Ships in the Night, while good for Diane’s profile, I’m not entirely happy with the notion of her being part of what is largely, a kitch program. It has all the geeks and freaks that seem right out of central casting in it that for some reason is wanted in today’s television market. While fine for the short-term fix, not very good in terms of longevity. I think Diane’s performance is very good, in fact, I think in all honesty outside of Wes Brown who played Marine Lieutenant Patrick Nolan, the rest of the cast is largely forgettable due to the unbelievability of the characters themselves. Personally, and this is only my opinion, I’d really love to see Dick Wolf come to his senses and beg Diane to return to LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT as Casey. Why? The quality of the genre is far more believable than that of NCIS. Given Diane’s comedia timing, she’s an ace at drama. She proved that over the five years she was on as Casey how she could easily handle the work. If not a return to SVU then something on cable. Something that will allow Diane’s talent to shine and not have to give into sterotypical ‘nerdiness’ of what NCIS represents.
I won’t make you wait any longer……

I know, you’re waiting for the screencaps and clip of Diane’s NAVY: NCIS episode. I’m working on it. To get HQ screencaps from the clip I need to convert the file and that takes some time to do. Hopefully I have it done for later tomorrow. In the meantime, Diane or rather Agent Abby got a mention on Entertainment Tonight last night. Here’s the item.

Diane fans unite and don’t forget to watch Diane’s return to NAVY: NCIS tomorrow night. The eppy is called Ships In the Night and Diane plays the part of GCIS Special Agent Abigail Borin. If you notice the gif in the header, it’s a nudge to remind you that it’s on and to follow the link to DNA MEDIA: DIANE NEAL & ADAM BEACH where you’ll find Diane’s first episode Jurisdicition and the promo spot for Ships in the Night. Please don’t forget. Set your TiVos, PVRs, VCRs (if you still have one of those) or better yet, watch it live so that the ratings are noted. Perhaps Diane’s return could nudge Dick Wolf into reversing his mistake and getting Diane back to her former place of glory as our favourite ADA Casey Novak. Could make a difference.
I’ll have the clip and screencaps up hopefully later in the evening or early on the next morning. Keep checking back.
Another thing I wanted to let you know about. I obtained a whole whackload of public event images of Diane that I’m in the process of tagging to upload to the gallery. Check back for those.

I’ve been given five HQ stills from Diane’s return episode of NAVY: NCIS as CGIS Special Agent Abigail Borin to air on 11 January 2011. Diane just looks lovely. I will try to have the caps and clip up after the airing, but it might take some time to do. I have a new program that does caps and clips, but the caps will be super HQ and the clip will take some time to upload to DNA depending on how much Diane is in it. I can hardly wait to see her again.

Diane’s return visit to NCIS: NAVAL CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION SERVICE as Abigail Borin now has a title. It is Ships In The Night. It airs 11 January 2011. Don’t forget to tune your TiVos, PVRs, DVD recorders, VCRs (if you still have one) for it. I’ll have clips and caps up as soon as the episode airs, or within hours depending on how long it takes to convert the episode to clip up. In the meantime, here is Diane’s first outing. Enjoy.
