Here she is … at last. I’ve finally been able to get the clip done and the MQ screencaps up in the gallery. Diane was excellent and looked stunning. The ending I won’t give away, but it did leave hope that she’ll be back permanently next year. Fingers crossed. I’ll have a larger selection of HQ screencaps up later tonight or early tomorrow.

NOTE: Please allow the clip to load fully before allowing it to play. The format is in MP4 encoding and therefore takes a bit of time to load for the entire episode to play without freezing. The rip is directly from the CTV broadcast and is good quality for viewing.

DIANE’S RETURN TO “LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT”

For those who are interested, I live in Canada where for some inexplicable reason, we get SVU a day a head of the United States. Not sure if that has anything to do with the CTV refusing to move it to Wednesday nights like NBC did, but I’ll have some screencaps and the episode clipped up later tomorrow night after the show airs. The reason I’ll have some caps up is because I’ll be doing up a more extensive HQ collection later Wednesday/Early Thursday. But the clip(s) will be available via DNA MEDIA. I’ll provide a link where you can see it and Diane shine again as Casey Novak. I’m loving this.

Long time no hear I know. I’ve been extremely busy with a couple of things including the fact that my mother has been ill of late. I’ve had to take care of her. Things have settled sufficiently that I can do some much needed updates. As most of you know, Diane’s return to SVU is upon us. I’ve added a lot of screencaps and media clips to the DNA MEDIA site. I’ve also created a button that will link to Dick Wolf’s official Twitter page. If you have a Twitter account and really want to see Diane back as our own ADA Casey Novak, please go there and tell Dick you want to see Diane and Casey back for Season 13. Diane has done a PSA for an online movement called SAVEWATERTODAY.ORG. The movement aims to bring awareness of the urgency to conserve water in order to make sure there’s enough to go around in the future. Celebrities share tips on how to best conserve what we do have.

DIANE COMING BACK TO SUV

Several sources are reporting that Diane is on her way back to SVU for one episode to air this spring. Casey Novak is coming back! I couldn’t be more thrilled. As much as I like Abigail Borin and I know a lot of fans of NCIS want to see her back, I was hoping beyond hope that Dick Wolf would see reason and bring Diane back to SVU where she belongs. I’m hoping this one episode will be the beginning of possibly bringing Casey back full time as ADA. I can hardly wait to see Diane back on her old stomping grounds. She should never have had to leave to begin with.

DIANE: NAVY NCIS – E8X11 SHIPS IN THE NIGHT MEDIA

Finally, I have the media done for Diane’s NAVY: NCIS return. I know it took a bit of time and that another website already has offered up their screencaps and a link to the full episode, but what I have here are HQ screencaps of Diane for anyone wishing to do banners, wallpapers, icons, livejournal icons, what have you. I also have the clip with only Diane’s scenes. This is after all, a Diane Neal website. Why make you have to sit through the other parts of the episode when you’ve come here for the girl herself.

One thing I want to say before I get to the media. That is, apparently the ratings for this episode went through the roof. Ships in the Night, while good for Diane’s profile, I’m not entirely happy with the notion of her being part of what is largely, a kitch program. It has all the geeks and freaks that seem right out of central casting in it that for some reason is wanted in today’s television market. While fine for the short-term fix, not very good in terms of longevity. I think Diane’s performance is very good, in fact, I think in all honesty outside of Wes Brown who played Marine Lieutenant Patrick Nolan, the rest of the cast is largely forgettable due to the unbelievability of the characters themselves. Personally, and this is only my opinion, I’d really love to see Dick Wolf come to his senses and beg Diane to return to LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT as Casey. Why? The quality of the genre is far more believable than that of NCIS. Given Diane’s comedia timing, she’s an ace at drama. She proved that over the five years she was on as Casey how she could easily handle the work. If not a return to SVU then something on cable. Something that will allow Diane’s talent to shine and not have to give into sterotypical ‘nerdiness’ of what NCIS represents.

Back in March, we introduced you to Abigail Borin, a fictional Coast Guard Investigative Service special agent portrayed by actress Diane Neal on the hit drama NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service). Well, Borin is back in tomorrow night’s episode, “Ships in the Night,” as CGIS joins the NCIS team in the investigation of a murder on a dinner boat cruise on the Potomac.
